Network Monitoring

The water industry loses a great deal of the water it produces before it gets to the consumer property. At that time, it has been abstracted, cleaned, stored and pumped, so it represents a considerable investment at the point of loss.

The water industry in the UK is regulated and all of the water companies have specific leakage reduction targets. Although great strides have been made since privatisation of the water industry and leakage has been reduced, it never goes away and requires continuous measurement and vigilance. Ashridge Engineering has worked with the water industry over many years and had developed a number of low cost, innovative products for isolating areas of interest for specific leakage pinpointing.

Network Analysis

The TOR Range can be used to perform dynamic flow & pressure analysis of network models, particularly where more frequent data rates may be useful for near real time monitoring.

Demand Management Audits

Flo-log can be used to help leakage planners calculate usage in residential areas. Flo-log is small and light and fits easily in restricted meter enclosures. Programmed in minutes, Flo-log can be attached to any pulse output meter and can log up to 2 channels, with “windowed” data access for user selectable periods of interest.
